Process Detail
Step-by-Step Breakdown
What happens at each stage and what to expect.
Brief, Feasibility & Quotation Phase 1
Send a tech pack, sample, sketch, product link or initial idea with your quantity per SKU, target market and destination. We review construction, materials, logo, packaging, MOQ, testing and production risks. An early estimate is for planning only; the formal quotation follows confirmed specifications and is normally valid for 15 days.

Paid Sample Development Phase 2
Sampling starts after requirements, files, materials, logo process and sample payment are confirmed. Standard development takes 3–7 days; special materials, custom hardware, tooling and complex structures are scheduled case by case. Sample fees can be deducted from the bulk-order payment after order confirmation; the applicable amount and freight are stated in the quotation.

Sample Review & Written Approval Phase 3
Review dimensions, material, color, structure, function, logo, hardware, workmanship and packaging. The sample fee includes one revision round. Further customer-requested revision rounds are quoted separately; corrections of our own errors against the confirmed specification are resampled without an additional sample fee. Written approval makes the final sample and specification record the mass-production standard.

PI, Deposit & Production Phases 4–5
The PI confirms the product, quantity, price, packaging, payment, trade term, production lead time and destination. Standard orders normally use 30% deposit and 70% balance; complex development normally uses 50% and 50%. After the deposit and all production-start conditions are met, light customization takes 15–30 days and heavy customization takes 20–45 days.

Inspection, Balance & Delivery Phase 6
Goods pass internal or customer-appointed third-party inspection before the balance is paid. We then dispatch by the agreed express, air, sea, railway, FBA or freight-forwarder route and prepare the applicable export documents. Shipping time is separate from production. Visible production, quantity or packaging issues should be reported within 7–15 days after receipt.

FAQ
Top Custom Manufacturing Questions
Six quick answers for buyers planning an OEM or ODM project.
Send the product dimensions, construction, materials, colors, logo method, hardware, packaging, quantity for each style and colorway, target market, delivery destination and required date. A photo, drawing, tech pack, reference link or physical sample helps us review the project faster. Anything still undecided can be quoted as options rather than holding the whole quotation up.
Our standard MOQ is 300 pieces per style and colorway. One SKU means one style, one color and one configuration. Start-up brands can begin below that tier on stock fabrics and hardware, as explained in the next answer. Product-specific exceptions depend on materials, color, hardware, packaging and production setup and must be confirmed in the quotation.
Sample and applicable development fees are paid before development. The amount is quoted per design once the construction, materials, hardware, logo technique and packaging are known. Sample fees can be deducted from the bulk-order payment after order confirmation. The applicable amount and freight are confirmed in the quotation; tooling for custom hardware, metal logo plates or custom zipper pullers, printing and embroidery plate charges, and third-party testing or inspection fees are listed separately and are not credited.
Standard sampling takes 3–7 days after requirements, files, materials, logo process and sample payment are confirmed. Special materials, custom hardware, new tooling or complex construction may require a project-specific schedule.
Sampling begins after requirements, files, materials, logo process and payment are confirmed. Production begins after final sample approval, specifications, colors, materials, logo, packaging, PI, deposit and production files are all confirmed. Light customization normally takes 15–30 days; heavy customization involving major structural changes, new tooling or full development normally takes 20–45 days. Shipping time is separate. If you are working toward a launch date, tell us the date and we work backwards to the latest day for sample approval and deposit.
We combine incoming-material checks, pre-production and first-piece confirmation, in-process inspection, semi-finished and finished-goods checks, packaging inspection and a 100% pre-shipment inspection, and you receive the QC report with photos. Checks can cover dimensions, color, logo, stitching, zippers, buckles, hardware, function and carton quantity. If your program runs to an AQL standard, that is applied on top of the full inspection rather than instead of it.
